Your Satyn Ave candle is hand poured in small batches using our signature soy-paraffin blend and a premium wooden wick. Following these simple care tips will help you enjoy a clean, even burn and extend the life of your candle.
Before Your First Burn
Allow your candle to burn until the melted wax reaches the edges of the vessel, typically 2 to 3 hours. This helps prevent tunneling and promotes an even burn throughout the life of your candle.
Trim the Wick
Before each burn, trim or pinch off the charred portion of the wooden wick to approximately 1/8 inch. A properly maintained wick creates a cleaner flame and minimizes soot.
Burn Time
Burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the wax to cool completely before relighting.
Keep It Safe
Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, children, pets, curtains, and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
When to Stop Burning
Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel to help protect the container from overheating.
